This lab-based evaluation of your body involves taking blood and urine samples according to specific directions. These lab results will help you to understand your body in terms of what disease states and conditions it is susceptible to developing. From there you can gather a greater understanding of how to take charge of your health and prevent these conditions from causing more harm.
Program includes:
- Blood serum evaluation of your body's organ systems.
- Iron levels.
- 1-25 Hydroxyvitamin D, 25 Hydroxyvitamin D - both forms of Vitamin D are assessed to rule out conversion deficiencies.
- Apo A, Apo B - predictive of cardiovascular disease development and good for monitoring treatment.
- B12 & Folate - aids in cholesterol and anemia evaluation.
- ANA and other autoimmune markers as required for evaluation of autoimmune disease.
- PSA - determine prostate health (men only).
- Ca 15-3, Ca 125 and CEA - tumour markers for baseline assessment.
- BioImpedance Analysis - to determine cellular health measures.
- Omega 3 score - to evaluate the inflammatory levels of fats in the body and how your essential fatty acid intake is affecting inflammation.
